This blog post marks the start of a 12-week series aimed at inspiring, uplifting, and enlightening you to recognize God's presence in every aspect of your life. We often find it challenging to perceive God when chaos and confusion disrupt our peace, which can be quite unsettling. However, I want to reassure you that God is aware of everything and is ready to respond when you call upon His name. Jeremiah 33:3

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” — Romans 8:28 (NIV)
Say This: God is Responsible for All the Good in my life.

When we look back over our lives, it’s tempting to tally up accomplishments, milestones, and blessings as if we earned them by our own strength. But Scripture reminds us that every good and perfect gift comes from God (James 1:17). The truth is quite simple yet very profound:

Romans 8:28

The job that opened just when you needed it.

The friend who called right when your heart was breaking.

The peace that flooded your spirit in the middle of chaos.

These aren’t coincidences.

They are evidence of a God who is weaving every detail together with care.

God Works

All Things

Together

Paul’s words in Romans 8:28 remind us that nothing is wasted in God’s plan. Notice he didn’t say some things or most things—but all things. That includes the victories, the setbacks, the unanswered prayers, and even the seasons of waiting.

It’s not that everything that happens to us is good in itself. Loss, pain, and disappointment hurts and oftentimes cut like a knife, and those feelings are very real. Yet, God in His sovereignty has a way of taking the broken pieces and arranging them into a picture of His goodness. He is the Master Weaver, working behind the scenes for our growth and His glory.

CONSIDER THIS... GOD IS A MASTER WEAVER!

Living with a Heart of Gratitude

When we shift our perspective from self-credit to God-credit, gratitude flows naturally. Gratitude transforms the ordinary into worship. Instead of asking, “Why me?” when blessings come, we begin to declare, “Thank You, Lord. I know this came from Your hand.”

Gratitude is not only the right response — it’s also the fuel for our faith. The more we recognize His fingerprints in our lives, the easier it becomes to trust Him with the unknowns ahead. And the easier it becomes to remain hopeful through it all, because after-all, God is Responsible for ALL the Good in our lives!

Your Story Is Part of His Bigger Plan

Romans 8:28 also whispers a personal assurance: your story matters to God. The challenges that you and I face, the victories we celebrate, the detours we endure — they are all being folded into His larger purpose.

It’s humbling to know that the good in your life is not random.

It is purposeful.

It is intentional.

It is a testimony of God’s faithfulness.

A Practical Next Step

I invite you to start a simple practice this week by beginning a “God’s Goodness Journal". Each day, write down at least one way you saw God’s goodness at work in your life—it might be a prayer answered, a small blessing, an unexpected joy, or even the strength to endure, a saved parking space, a great ticket at an event, or even your favorite item in stock on a shelf. Over time, you will build your faith and trust in God, and it will serve as a living testimony of God’s faithfulness throughout your life.

Closing Prayer / Affirmation

“Lord, thank You for being the source of every good thing in my life. Help me to see Your hand at work in all things, both big and small. Teach me to give You the glory, live with gratitude, and to always trust You with the future. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
